Plastic Strip & Sheet
Plastic sheets
Engineering plastics is an extensive part of TEPP – semi finished products , full sheets, plates and rods. Machined, stamped and punched parts are available from a variety of sheet materials available. The list of materials available is extensive. If you have a requirement for any sheet materials, please just ask. The dimensions vary but can be from 0.6mm -50mm. The most common of these materials, is Nylon, filled and unfilled it offers an option to change from metal components to plastics. Tepp Plastics is your home for nylon strip and sheet!

Some of the materials can be found below with short descriptions – please ask for data sheets when required
Nylatron® GS |
Nylatron GS is the product of MCAM (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials) – and is available from TEPP PLASTICS, manufactured from 0.25mm thick to 3.18mm thick (strip and part form). Sheets are also available in this material in heavier gauges. It is a filled nylon PA66 MOs2 improving strength and rigidity. Low linear thermal expansion – parts maintain a better fit and have less tendency to seize.
|
Nylatron® NSM |
This material was developed for demanding applications. It is a premium grade material that is ideal for wear bars, bearings offering excellent wear resistance.
|
Tepmax 66 |
Our Nylon 66 material is a perfect solution for many applications. It's mechanical strength, toughness, together with good sliding, excellent wear resistance, and high electrical resistance and good machinability – make it a great product in multiple situations.
|
Tepmax MDS |
Our Nylon 66 with Mos2 added – offers a good resistance and improves strength and life span in parts. Increased friction resistance makes this an everyday product for many industrial applications.
|
Nylomos™ |
Nylomos is a Trademark of TEPP PLASTICS Nylon 66 Mos2 filled
|
Tepmax™ACT |
Acetal Copolymer, a proven engineering plastic, exhibits low moisture absorption, excellent dimensional stability and high impact resistance. These properties, combined with its excellent strength and stiffness, make it an ideal choice for components having to operate in wet environments. Physiologically inert (suitable for food contact) table

Thickness
Nylon Strip is available in 0.25mm to 3.18mm thick
The established extruded plate and sheet product ranges are ideal for larger and thicker components. However, once components become small and thin, such as seal rings or washers for example, then another solution in the form of strip is the most viable option to consider.

Plastic Production
The nylon strip production operation is equipped with a sophisticated extruder combined with microprocessor controlled process monitoring equipment and off-line slitting facilities, capable of precision cutting master reels into standard or custom widths. The focus is on producing reliable, high quality, close tolerance thin nylon strip, ideally suited for high productivity auto stamping equipment. In nylon strip form, materials such as nylon, acetal and PTFE can be cost effectively converted into low, medium or high volume stamped or cropped parts such as wear strips, washers, seal rings, gaskets, interleaf shims and sleeve bearings. Our TEPMAX 66, Nylatron® GS and Nylomos™ are excellent materials for the production of performance punched and stamped parts in nylon and other plastics.
ONE stage Process
Take advantage of a ONE stage process – from extrusion to dispatch – with lengths up to 500m, you can reduce both labour costs, material waste for all your stamped and punched parts. Continuous lengths of nylon – plastics are ideally suited for progression or compound tool operations.
